The review tool on the Transactions page allows you to separate your transactions between two statuses: Reviewed, and unreviewed (verified, and unverified).
Think of reviewed transactions as complete transactions and unreviewed transactions as transactions that still need your attention.
When a transaction is imported or entered, it is good practice to ensure that there is a category selected, a sales tax set, any customer/vendor information is added, and the description is correct. However, having all of these fields set is not necessary in order to mark a transaction as reviewed.
Once you know you have checked over a transaction and it's correct, that is when you mark it as reviewed.
To verify a single transaction and mark it as reviewed, simply select the check-mark to the right of the transaction.
Note: No data is modified when a transaction status has been changed.
