Follow these instructions to edit an employee's salary. You can schedule this change to take effect immediately, or at a later date.
- Click Payroll, then Employees in the menu on the left side of your screen.
- Find the employee you want to update and click on Edit.
- Click Compensation, then click Change Salary.
- Enter the new salary in the Salary amount field.
- In the Effective as of field, enter the date the new salary takes effect. (Please note that the earliest effective date will have to be after your last approved pay period.)
- Click Save to complete. You're done! The new wage will begin to be reflected on the payroll that covers the selected date.
- The employee's salary history is listed under History on the Salary page.
