What's the difference between an owner and a user?

The owner of a Wave account is the person whose email was used to sign up for Wave. This does not necessarily have to be the owner of the business, though in most cases it will be.

The Wave account owner can invite others to access the account as users, to view and work with information in the Wave account.

A user is a person invited by the owner to either view or edit the specific Wave business or personal account.

Users can create and send invoices, manage transactions, and generate reports.

Users do not have the ability to add or manage bank connections. This includes seeing and updating the account balances on the dashboard. They will also not be able to access the credit card payments feature, account settings, or export data.

The account owner decides who to invite as a user, and what level of access they're granted.

The owner can give a user access to only one business or personal account at a time. If you are the owner and you want a user to access more than one of your businesses, you will need to send separate invites for each one.
