Before you approve your payroll, ensure:
- All timesheets are complete for hourly employees.
- Vacation, overtime, and sick pay are entered if applicable.
- Any benefits and deductions are added.
- The pay period start and end dates are correct. Learn how to change or skip a
pay period. - The pay date is correct. The pay date determines the month a payroll is reported in. For example, if the hours worked in the pay period are in December and the pay date is in January, the information for this pay period is recorded in January,
