The Run Payroll page allows you to: adjust your payroll setup, access previously approved payrolls, and review, edit, and approve your current payroll.

Payroll Setup

Use the Payroll Setup button in the top right to see all information related to your payroll setup. The information here can be updated or changed as needed.

Approved Payrolls

The Approved Payrolls button in the top right corner displays all previously approved payrolls in Wave. Select an approved pay period to review that period's Approved
Payroll Summary.

Run Payroll

The calendar displays the current pay period’s Start, End and Payday date. The start date and end date represent the work period that you are paying your employees or contractors for. The payday is the day your employees receive their direct deposit or are due to be paid outside of Wave.

The payroll cost represents the total amount owed for this displayed pay period. You can review notices and approve the payroll in this section. Learn how to approve a payroll.

Direct Deposit

The status next to Direct Deposit indicates if it is active for the pay period. If you are active for direct deposit, click Direct deposit transactions to see prior direct deposit information. If you have not applied for direct deposit, select Set up direct deposit to apply. Learn how to apply for direct deposit.

Automatic Tax Payments

The status next to Automatic Tax Payments indicates if Wave will handle the tax payments and filings for this pay period. If you are active for tax service, click See tax payments to see your past and present payments. If you are not active, and your business is eligible, select Authorize tax payments to apply.
