Why can't I set up Stripe for payment processing?

To access payment processing through Stripe, your business location and default currency in Wave must match. An example of this would be your business located in the United Kingdom with a business currency of British Pounds (GBP).

Follow these instructions to determine the location and default currency that you’ve set your business up as.

  1. Click on your business name in the top left corner of the screen.
  2. Click Manage your profile.
  3. Select Businesses.
  4. Click the pencil icon next to your business and check for the Country and Business Currency.

If your business location does not match your default currency, you won’t be able to connect to a Stripe account and you will have to create a new business to process payments. Read more about how to add a new business.
