How to send money from the Wave Money app

Use your Wave Money app to pay bills, withdraw money from an ATM and monitor your cashflow! In our limited release, you can send money via ACH transfer and Email Money Transfer with a check-request feature coming soon!

Wave Money is currently in limited release and available by invitation only. If you haven’t received an invitation, learn more about Wave Money here.

ACH transfers

Send money to payees straight from your Wave Money account via ACH transfer. From the dashboard of your Wave Money app, click Send money.

  1. If this is your first time sending money to this payee, add a new payee. You’ll need their:
    • Name
    • Email
    • Routing number
    • Account number
  2. Enter the amount you want to send and the payee’s name.
  3. Click Send ACH transfer.

The funds will be automatically deposited into your payee’s bank account usually in 2-3 business days. This can take up to 7 business days.

Email Transfer

Email money transfer allows you to easily and securely send funds from your Wave Money to a recipient using email. From the Dashboard of your Wave Money app, select Send Money.

  1. Select a previous payee or enter a new recipient. 
  2. Enter the details for the recipient including their:
    • Name or Business Name
    • Email
    • Optional Message
    • Security Question
    • Security Answer
  3. Confirm the amount, name and email before selecting Send Now. 

The funds will are usually deposited in 3-4 business days after the recipient accepts the transfer. This can take up to 7 business days.
