Send an email money transfer  

You can easily and securely send funds from your Wave Money account using email money transfer. You don’t need to know the recipient’s routing and account information to send an email money transfer.

Funds sent by email money transfer are usually deposited 3-7 business days after the recipient accepts the transfer.

  1. Log in to the Wave mobile app, then select Banking on the bottom menu.
  2. Tap Send money on the Banking dashboard.
  3. Enter the amount to send, then tap Continue.
  4. Select a previously saved recipient or enter a new recipient.
  5. Fill in all of the required fields on the page, then tap Continue.
  6. Confirm the name, email, and amount. When you’re ready to send the transfer tap Send Now.

View the status of an email money transfer

  1. Log in to the Wave mobile app, then select Banking on the bottom menu.
  2. Tap View all transactions.
  3. Locate and tap on the email money transfer in the transactions list.
  4. View the status of your email money transfer under Transfer status.
    As the transaction processes, the current state will be visible here.

Send an ACH transfer

ACH transfer allows you to easily and securely send funds from your Wave Money account to a recipient using their bank account number and routing number.

Money sent by ACH transfer is automatically deposited into the recipient’s bank account. ACH transfers normally take 2-3 business days, but in some cases can take up to 7 business days.

  1. Log in to the Wave mobile app, then tap Banking on the bottom menu.
  2. Tap Send money on the Banking dashboard.
  3. Enter the amount to send, then tap Continue.
  4. Tap ACH at the top.
  5. Select a previously saved recipient or enter a new recipient.
  6. Enter the required information, including the account and routing numbers of the recipient’s bank account.
  7. Confirm the name, email, account number, routing number, and amount before selecting Send Now.

View the status of an ACH transfer

  1. Log in to the Wave mobile app, and then select Banking on the bottom menu.
  2. Tap View all transactions.
  3. Locate and tap on the ACH transfer in the transactions list.
  4. View the status of your ACH transfer under Transfer status.
    As the transaction processes, the current state will be visible here.
