If an employee’s information has changed, update it as soon as possible to avoid errors on their payroll. To edit employee details:
- On the left-side menu, select Payroll > Employees.
- Select the Active, On Leave or Dismissed tab and find your employee. The employee search filter will only search in the tab you have selected.
- Click the employee’s name, or click Edit.
- In the employee menu, select the section you want to edit, then make your changes.
- Click Save at the bottom of the page to save any changes.
If an employee has accepted an email invitation to view their payroll information through Wave, you can’t update their email address manually. To update an employee’s email, open Mave, Wave’s automated chatbot, and type reset employee email.
