Are you an employee of a business owner who uses Wave's payroll feature? If you're paid by direct deposit, follow these instructions if you'd like to check the status of the transfer of your pay.
You can check the Personal tab in your Wave account to find out when your pay has been transferred into your account, when the transfer is in progress, and when the transfer has failed.
The Personal profile is only available in the web browser version of Wave. To view your Personal profile, first log in to your Wave account at waveapps.com.
- Click your business name in the top right corner, then select Switch businesses.
- Select Personal from the drop-down menu.
- On the left-side menu, click Payroll.
- Click Pay Stubs from the drop-down.
- Click on the eye icon next to the pay period you want to check the status of.
- Click Direct Deposit.
- The status of the Direct Deposit for this pay period will be one of the following:
- Pending: The transfer of funds from Payroll to your bank account is in progress.
- Exception: An attempt to transfer the funds from Payroll into your bank account was unsuccessful.
- Success: The transfer of funds from Payroll into your bank account has been made and will appear in your bank account within 24 hours.
- You can now check the status of the transfer of funds into your bank account each pay period.
