If you are using Wave’s direct deposit feature, you can turn off direct deposit for a specific employee or all employees for a pay period. To enable direct deposit again, turn it back on before approving your next payroll.
To turn direct deposit on or off for an employee:
- Log in to your account at waveapps.com.
- On the left-side menu, click Payroll > Employees.
- Click Edit beside the employee’s name.
- From the menu on the left, select Direct Deposit.
- To enable direct deposit, select Yes. To turn it off, select Not right now.
- The change applies to the next payroll you run.
