What to do if you can't find your Wave account

There are two ways to create a Wave account:

  • Set up your account directly with Wave using an email address and password
  • Sign up with your existing Google or Apple account

    If you signed up for Wave using a Yahoo account and haven’t logged in for a while, you will be prompted to create a password. Wave no longer supports the Yahoo sign-in integration.

If your business is based in the US or Canada, but you’re being redirected to Zoho books, it may be because you are currently outside the US or Canada. Try using a VPN to change your location to the US or Canada while travelling.

If your data appears to have disappeared, you may have accidentally clicked Sign Up instead of Sign In. To try signing in again:

  1. At the top right corner, click on the business name, then Sign out in the drop-down menu. You'll return to the login page.
  2. If you created an account directly with Wave, enter your email address and password.

    If you’ve forgotten your password, click Forgot it? to reset it.

  3. If you used Google or Apple to sign up, click Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple.

If you cannot find your original account, try:

  • Logging in with a different email address
  • Checking your browser history to return to a previously successful login page
  • Verifying you’re using the correct Google or Apple account. If you have multiple Google or Apple accounts, log out of all of them, then sign in only with the account you use for Wave.
