What to do if you can't find your Wave account

If your business is based in the US or Canada, but you’re being redirected to Zoho books, it may be because you are currently outside the US or Canada. To resolve this, use a VPN to change your location to the US or Canada while travelling.

There are two ways to create a Wave account:

  • Set up your account directly with Wave using an email address and password
  • Sign up with your existing Google account

If you signed up for Wave using a Yahoo account and haven’t logged in for a while, you will be prompted to create a password. Wave no longer supports a Yahoo sign-in integration.

If your data appears to have disappeared, you may have accidentally clicked Sign Up instead of Sign In. To resolve this:

  1. At the top right corner, click on the business name, then Sign out to return to the login page.
  2. If you created a Wave account with a unique password, enter the email address and password. If you’ve forgotten your password, click Forgot it? to reset.
  3. If you used Google to sign up, click Sign in with Google. Click your business name at the top right to switch between businesses, if applicable.

If you cannot find your original account, try to:

  • Log in with a different email address.
  • Check your browser history to return to a previously successful login page.
  • Verify you’re using the correct Google account. If you have multiple Google accounts, log out of all and sign in only with the account used for Wave.
