What’s included in an Approved Payroll Summary
When you approve a payroll in Wave, a summary is created for your records. The Approved Payroll Summary includes:
- Pay period dates
- Payroll approval date
- Pay date
- Total payroll cost
- Employees included in the payroll and payment method
- Employee pay statements
View an Approved Payroll Summary
To review your Approved Payroll Summary:
- Open your Payroll Dashboard or Run Payroll page.
- At the top right, click Approved payrolls.
- Click on a pay period.
When viewing your Approved Payroll Summary, you can:
- Download a PDF file of the Employer Summary and Statement of Earnings
- Download a CSV file for the employee's total taxes
- Export files to QuickBooks
- Delete the most recently approved payroll, if applicable
- Review and download employee pay statements
Businesses in Canada can print cheques from the Approved Payroll Summary.
