If your bank is not available or is unable to connect through Plaid, manually connect your bank account using your account and routing numbers to accept online payments or fund payroll. Your bank account must be in the same currency as your business country.
You cannot manually connect a bank account for transaction imports.
To deposit invoice payments or pay employees via direct deposit, Wave requires the ability to credit and debit your bank account. If you aren’t sure if your bank account allows this, contact your bank.
To connect your bank account manually:
- Log in at waveapps.com.
- At the top right, click your business name, then Business settings.
- In the Settings menu, for online payouts, click Payouts. For payroll funding, click Funding Account.
- In the search bar, enter a dash (-).
- For US businesses, click Use your bank routing and account numbers. For Canadian businesses, click Use your bank transit, institution, and account numbers.
- Enter your banking details.
- Click Save and continue.
