Generate reports with Wave Connect

To generate reports with Wave Connect, first install and link Wave Connect with Google Sheets.

With Wave Connect, you can use your Wave reports to generate single and multi-period financial reports.

What reports can I generate?

With Wave Connect you can generate:

  • Balance sheets
  • Cash flow reports
  • Income statements (Profit and Loss report)
  • Trial balances

Generate a report using Wave Connect

To generate a report with Wave Connect:

  1. Open your Google Sheets spreadsheet, and click Extensions > Wave Connect > Reports.
  2. Select the type of report you want to generate.
  3. On the sidebar to the right, click the Business dropdown and select which business you want to download your data from.
  4. Select the time period for the report. To generate a multi-period report, choose the Multiple time periods option.
  5. Enter the period dates. If you need to add additional periods, click Add Dates.
  6. Choose your column settings, if applicable.
  7. Click Run Report.
