Changing subscription periods

You can change from a monthly subscription to an annual subscription at any time.

You can also change from an annual subscription to a monthly subscription. In this case, once your annual subscription ends, your monthly subscription begins. You will be billed monthly until you change your subscription again or cancel it.

Changing plan types

You can switch from the Receipts Plan to the Pro Plan or from the Pro Plan to the Receipts Plan at any time.

If your business profile was created before January 29, 2024, you won't see the option to switch to Pro Plan. Learn more on Wave’s blog.

If you upgrade your plan from Receipts to Pro, you get access to Pro Plan features immediately. Your billing date will be based on the day you make the change. Any remaining balance paid for the Receipts Plan will be credited toward your new Pro Plan. This happens automatically.

If you switch from Pro to Receipts Plan, you will have access to Pro Plan features until the end of the current billing period. At the beginning of the next billing period, your Receipts Plan subscription will begin.

How to change your plan

  1. Log in to your account at waveapps.com
  2. Click your business name in the top-right corner, then click Business settings.
  3. From the Settings menu, select Manage Subscriptions.
  4. If you subscribed on your mobile device, follow the instructions on the Manage Subscriptions page to change your plan in Wave's mobile app. If you subscribed from waveapps.com you won't see instructions, and can continue to Step 5 below.
  5. Click the Manage subscription button.
  6. Click the name of your current plan.

  7. Click Edit Subscription.
  8. Click Change.
  9. Select the button next to monthly or annual to choose a new frequency.
  10. Open the dropdown menu, then select Receipts or Pro Plan to change your plan type.
  11. Click Update.
