Your monthly payroll subscription price includes manual or direct deposit payments to your employees, W2/W3 tax forms, 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC form generation at year-end, and tax payment reminders.
The payroll subscription fee per month is:
- $40 monthly base fee
- $6 per active employee per month
- $6 per contractor paid
Wave charges sales tax as required based on the work address under your Business Profile. Any tax charged will appear on your bill.
What’s an active employee?
An employee is considered active if they’re currently working for your business and are not on leave. If an employee goes on leave or no longer works for your business, make sure to update their employment status so you won’t be charged for the months they’re not working.
