Inviting your employees to Wave allows them to create their own Wave account to view or update their payroll information. This includes their personal information, bank account details for direct deposit, pay stubs, tax forms, and salary and vacation information. If you did not enter an email address to invite your employee when you added them in Wave, follow the steps below.
Invite your employee to Wave
- On the left side menu, click Payroll > Employees.
- Select the employee you want to invite.
- Select Personal Information from the options on the left.
- Enter an email address for the employee, then click Save.
- Click Invite to Wave in the top right corner.
After you invite your employee, they will receive an email invitation to create their own account or log in to an existing account.
Once your employee accepts their invitation, they will be able to view all of their payroll information. Payroll information is found in their personal profile. Once the employee has accepted the invitation, you can no longer update their email address. If you need to update this later, open Mave, Wave’s automated chatbot, and type reset employee email.
