To review your transactions, on the left-side menu, click Accounting > Transactions.

Whether a transaction has been automatically categorized or merged, it will show a purple highlight across the transaction.

If a transaction was auto-merged, click the merge icon on the right of the transaction to confirm the merge, or unmerge the transactions. Either action will also remove the purple highlight.

If a transaction was auto-categorized, click the thumbs-up icon to confirm the categorization, or recategorize the transaction if needed. Either action will also remove the purple highlight.

Wave learns from your choices to automatically categorize future transactions. If you manually assign different categories to transactions with matching descriptions, Wave leaves similar transactions uncategorized in the future.

If a transaction has been both automatically merged and categorized, review the categorization and then the merge separately.

After you verify the updated transaction is accurate, click the checkmark next to the transaction to mark it as reviewed.
