Overview of the Transactions page in your web browser

The Transactions page is where all your transactions are stored. You can view, create, filter, sort, and edit your transactions here. On the left-side menu, click Accounting > Transactions to view the Transactions page.

Key Features

  1. All accounts: Select an account to view its running balance and transactions. At the bottom of the dropdown menu, add or manage bank connections or add a new account.
  2. Select All: Check this box to bulk select all transactions. Learn how to use bulk actions on transactions.
  3. Delete, Edit, Merge, and Review: The available options appear when you select the check box to the left of one or more transactions. Learn how to delete, edit, merge, and review transactions.
  4. Filter and Sort: Click Filter or Sort to help find specific transactions.
  5. Add transaction: Click to Add a deposit, Add a withdrawal, Scan a receipt, or Add a journal entry.
  6. More: Click to Connect your bank or manually Upload transactions.
  7. Reconciliation toggle: Click the toggle to view the reconciliation page for the currently selected account. Learn how to Reconcile your books.
  8. Auto-updates feed: Click to track new and previous automatic updates to your transactions. Review automatic categorizations, merges, or transactions created from scanned receipts.
  9. Search: Enter a search word or amount and click the magnifying glass icon to find specific transactions.
  10. Review: Click the checkmark to mark your transactions as reviewed once verified.
  11. Transaction menu: Click to edit that specific transaction's details, upload a receipt as an attachment, delete the transaction, or copy it.

You can also click the Description, Account, Category, or Amount fields of a transaction to make changes without opening the transaction's edit pop-up.

The Transactions page is where you can manage all your transactions. You can view, create, filter, sort, and edit transactions here. On the bottom menu, tap Accounting > Transactions to view the Transactions page.

Key features

  1. All accounts balance: The total balance of all your accounts in Wave. To see an overview of your individual account balances, log in to Wave in a web browser.
  2. Filter and Sort: Tap Filter or Sort to help find specific transactions.
  3. Receipt scanning: Tap the camera icon to scan receipts.
  4. Add transactions: Tap the + icon to create income or expense transactions, or scan a receipt.
