Limited access pricing and what’s included in the United States

$17 per month in states where Wave offers automated tax payments and filings:

Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.

$10 per month in all other states.

  • Records of Employment
  • Previous payroll journal entries
  • Benefit and deduction updates
  • Employee self-onboarding for new employees

Does not include:

  • Payroll processing
  • Editing timesheets
  • Adding payroll history import
  • Nil remittance reporting

A nil remittance should be reported when you have no deductions to remit because you have seasonal workers, no deductions, or no employees. You can report a nil remittance with CRA directly.

Switch to a limited access subscription 

  1. Log in to your account at waveapps.com.
  2. Open the top right menu by clicking your business name, then click Business settings.
  3. Under the Payroll heading, select Billing.
  4. Click Cancel Payroll Subscription.
  5. Select Switch my Subscription.
  6. Update Subscription Preferences (i.e. how long will you pause payroll for).

When you switch your subscription to limited access, you will continue to have full access to all payroll features until the end of the month you update your subscription in. After that, your payroll subscription will change to limited access.

If you need to update your subscription payment method while the switch to limited access is pending, you can resume your subscription to make the change. Once complete, you can switch back to limited access.

Resume your payroll subscription

  1. Log in to your account at waveapps.com.
  2. Open the top right menu by clicking your business name, then click Business settings.
  3. Under the Payroll heading, select Billing.
  4. Click Resume Subscription.

When you resume your payroll subscription, you will have full access to all payroll features immediately. Regular payroll pricing will resume automatically and a prorated amount will be billed upon resuming payroll.
