View your Tag Comparison report
To view your Tag Comparison report:
- Open the Reports page.
- In the Tags section, click Tag Comparison.
- Select a pre-selected date range from the drop-down menu, or enter a custom date range.
- Select your report type.
- Choose the tags to compare. You can select up to 7 tags at one time.
- Click Update report.
To remove selected tags from your current report, click the X beside their label, then click Update report.
You can also view your report from the Tags page. At the top right, click View report to open the tag comparison report.
Understand your Tag Comparison report
The Tag Comparison report allows you to see a side-by-side comparison of the income and expenses of multiple tags for a specific time period.
At the top of the report, review the net profit of each tag and the total net profit of all tags combined.
Each column in the report represents a tag. The report is divided into sections to show income, cost of goods sold, and expenses. Each section has the relevant accounts from your Chart of Accounts that your tagged transactions are categorized under. At the far right of each line is the total amount of all selected tags for that category.
Asset, liability, and equity accounts are not included in the comparison report.
Beneath the income sections, the gross profit for each selected tag is displayed. At the bottom of the report, the net profit for each selected tag is displayed.
