Edit or delete an invoice in the Wave mobile app
Edit or delete an invoice in your web browser
- Log in to your Wave account from waveapps.com.
- On the left navigation menu, click Sales & Payments > Invoices.
- Locate the invoice or search using the filters above your list of invoices.
- Click the dropdown arrow to the right of the invoice;
- To edit, select Edit from the menu, make the required changes, then click Save and Continue.
- To delete, select Delete from the menu, then in the pop-up window, click Delete again to confirm.
If you choose to update your business information or your customer’s details from an invoice, the changes will apply to all past invoices. The changes are also saved under your business profile (if you update your business information), and under the customer's profile (if you update the customer’s details).
Deleted invoices cannot be recovered. If you wish to retain them for your records, make sure to export the invoices before deleting them. Learn how in Print or export invoices in Wave.
Edit or delete an invoice in the Wave mobile app
- Log in to your account on the Wave mobile app.
- Tap Sales on the bottom menu, then tap Invoices in the submenu.
- Locate the invoice.
Use the filters at the top of the page to help find an invoice.
- Swipe left on the invoice row;
- To edit, tap Edit, make the required changes, then tap Save.
- To delete, tap Delete, then tap Delete invoice again in the pop-up box to confirm.
