When you click Save and Continue to create a new invoice, Wave saves the invoice as a draft. Saving an invoice as a draft does not make any changes to your accounting or reports.
Approving a draft invoice allows you to send it to your customer or record a payment. Once you approve the draft, it reflects on your accrual basis reports. You cannot change approved invoices back into drafts.
