Deleting your Wave account cannot be undone. Be sure you have extracted all the information you require before closing your account. Learn how to export your data.
Deleting your Wave account deletes all your personal and business data for all businesses in your account. After your account is deleted, you can register again using the same email address.
If you have any payroll subscriptions, you must cancel them before deleting your account.
To delete your account:
- Ensure you're in the account you want to delete by checking the business name in the top right corner.
- Click your business name. From the drop-down menu, click Profile settings.
- Click Personal Information on the left.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Close This Wave Account.
- Select a reason for leaving from the drop-down menu.
- Confirm you want to continue by clicking Permanently Close All My Businesses in Wave. You can cancel your request by clicking Cancel.
- You will receive an email at your primary email address. To permanently delete your account, click the link in the email to confirm.
