Change the email address for notifications

Set your email notification preferences

Mandatory communications regarding financial service disputes, system notifications, changes to Wave’s Terms of Use, and other important updates will be sent via email despite notification preferences.

Wave allows you to set your preferences for email notifications about updates to your account from accounting, sales, payroll, payments, receipts, and banking from within your business. To set your preferences:

  1. Log in to Wave at waveapps.com.
  2. At the top right corner, click your business name, then Profile settings.
  3. In the Settings menu, click Notifications.
  4. Check the boxes next to the feature notifications you want to receive, or uncheck the boxes to stop receiving notifications for a feature.
  5. Click Update.

Change the email address for notifications

Email notifications are sent to the primary email address associated with your Wave account. To change the email address that receives notifications, follow the steps in How to change the owner email address of your Wave account.
