Send an invoice outside of Wave using a web browser

  1. On the left-side menu, click Sales & Payments > Invoices.
  2. Open the invoice you want to send.
  3. In the Send section, click Send invoice.
  4. If you have a Pro Plan subscription or accept online payments, open the More options tab in the pop-up.
  5. Select Copy link or Download PDF. Clicking Download PDF downloads the file to your device.
  6. Click Launch email to open your email account outside of Wave. Here you can add the invoice link or PDF to an email.

Once sent, you can mark the invoice as sent by opening the invoice, then clicking Mark as sent.

If you edit an invoice after you share the link, your customer will see the updated invoice when they open the same link. You need to notify your customer of any updates directly.

Send an invoice outside of Wave using the mobile app

  1. On the bottom menu, tap Sales > Invoices.
  2. Tap the invoice you want to send.
  3. Tap Send invoice.
  4. Select Send link via… or Send PDF via….
  5. Choose a sending option, then follow the steps on your device to send the PDF or link outside of Wave.

Once sent, you can mark the invoice as sent by tapping the three dots at the top rightof the invoice, then tapping Mark as sent.
