Wave is rolling out a new experience for online payments users over the next few months, so some of the steps below may not apply to your business.
As you complete the application, your information will save automatically.
- On the left-side menu, click Sales & Payments > Payments Setup.
- Click Get Started.
- Review the information you need for the application, then click Get started.
- Enter your business details, personal information, and business contact information. Click Next or Save and continue to move to the next section.

As part of the updated experience, you must have a Decision Maker. Select their decision maker status, enter their information, then click Add decision maker. Depending on your business type, you may need to provide details of more than one decision maker.
A decision maker is a person who is authorized to make major decisions for your business.
- Search for or select your bank, then enter the bank details for the account to deposit your payments into. If your bank isn't listed, enter your details manually.
- Enter the name you want to appear on customer credit card statements. Click Save and continue.
- Review your information, review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, then select the checkbox when complete.
- Click Submit application.
After you submit your application, Wave will review it within 3 business days. If additional information is needed, Wave will contact you by email.

To begin your application:
- In the bottom menu, tap Payments.
- Tap Get started with payments.
- You will be redirected to a web browser to complete your application. Follow the steps above to set up online payments in your web browser.
