Understand an estimate status

Statuses indicate the latest action that has been taken by you or your customer, so you can track the progress of your estimates.

An estimate can only show one status at a time. When a new action is taken, the status updates.

  • Draft: The estimate has been created and saved as a draft.
  • Saved: The draft estimate is approved but not yet sent to the customer.
  • Sent: The estimate has been sent to the customer.
  • Viewed: The customer has viewed the estimate.
  • Accepted: The customer has accepted the estimate.

Accepting an estimate is part of Wave’s Pro Plan. Learn about Wave’s plans.

  • Converted: The estimate has been converted to an invoice.
  • Expired: The Valid Until date of the estimate has passed.

To accept or send an expired estimate, or convert it to an invoice, edit the Valid Until date to a future date. Learn how to Edit, delete, or duplicate an estimate.
