How to send an invoice

There are two ways you can send an invoice in Wave. Follow along to learn how you can send professional looking invoices in a snap that get you paid!

Send from the invoice list

  1. When you are logged in to your Wave account, click Sales > Invoices on the left side menu and then the drop-down to the right of the invoice you want to send.
  2. Click Send to send the invoice through Wave. Feel free to click on 'Show Additional Options' to send a copy to yourself or attach the invoice as a PDF.

This way of sending an invoice provides more options!

  1. From the Invoices page in your Wave account, click on the invoice from the list view to open it.
  2. Now click Send Invoice. A new window will appear which will allow you to customize the email you're about to send to your customer.

The OTHER tab will allow you to send the invoice directly from your GMail, Outlook, Yahoo! or other email account.

Feel free to create a test invoice to send to yourself to make sure the option is what you want. Also, the Preview button will allow you to see the email you're sending your customer before you hit Send.
