Why aren't my attachments appearing in the email sent to my customer?

If you upload files to an invoice or estimate exceeding 5MB, they will not appear as attachments in the email when you send them. However, the attachments will be visible at the bottom when the customer views the invoice or estimate. 

If the total file size is below 5MB, make sure to check the box to show the attachments in the email when you send an invoice or estimate.

Where do my attachments go if they're not in the email?

The attachments are always visible at the bottom of an invoice or estimate when viewing it.

How will my customer know that attachments are associated with an invoice or estimate if they're not included in the email?

On the email your customer receives, they will see a View attachments button along with the View invoice or View estimate button. Clicking View attachments in the email will take them directly to the attachments section of the invoice or estimate.

What file types are supported for invoice and estimate attachments?

JPG, PNG, GIF, PDF, DOC/DOCX, XLS/XLSX, and CSV file types are supported.

Are there any limits to the number or size of files I can upload?

You can upload a maximum of 25 files and up to 20MB in total. You can upload up to 10 files at a time.
